The Tigris dining chairs arrive as a coordinated pair, each carried on a single chrome tube that never reaches the floor behind the seat. The tube leaves the front edge of the seat frame, drops to the ground, bends through a flat loop that reaches back beneath the chair, then turns up again and carries the rear of the seat from below, leaving the whole back half of the chair standing on nothing. Above the seat the same tube continues up on both sides to hold the backrest. That backrest is a panel of handwoven cane set inside a rounded wood surround, its open weave letting air pass straight through. The seat is a velvet cushion piped around its edge, squared off at the corners and set into the frame. The frame carries 360 pounds per chair.

Care Instructions
