Perenna gray twin over full bunk bed with twin trundle in a cozy bedroom with blue bedding

Meet Perenna - The Full Bed Underneath

Two twins solve a shared room for a few years, and then one of them outgrows a twin while the bunk still has a decade left in it. The Perenna bunk bed puts a full-size mattress on the bottom instead, wide enough that a parent fits alongside at bedtime and long enough to keep working when the reading gets done alone. A twin trundle rolls out from beneath for the nights a friend stays over, and the angled ladder bolts to whichever side the room calls for. Later the frame unbolts into a standing twin and a standing full, two beds of different sizes for two people who no longer share. Twin over full bunk bed with trundle, twin over full bunk bed that converts, bunk bed with reversible ladder, full size bunk bed with guardrails. Best for shared bedrooms with an age gap, guest rooms and rooms that host sleepovers.

Take A Closer Look

1.

Full-Size Lower Bunk

The bottom bunk takes a full mattress, wide enough for a parent to lie down at story time and long enough that the sleeper does not outgrow it while the frame still has years left.

2.

Pull-Out Twin Trundle

A third bed rolls out from below the lower bunk on its own slat base, and a sleepover stops meaning an air mattress on the floor. It slides back out of sight once the guests go home.

3.

Spindled Guardrails

Vertical spindles fill the guardrails in the same spacing as the head and foot panels, and the enclosure carries the line of the frame instead of cutting across it in two plain horizontal bars.

4.

Reversible Angled Ladder

The ladder climbs at a slope with a handrail of its own, and it bolts to either side of the frame, so the approach follows the door and the window rather than fixing the layout on day one.
