The Orla bunk bed is the full over full version of this convertible frame, drawn so both levels carry a full-size mattress and 400 pounds apiece. Rubberwood posts stand at all four corners, joined into head and foot panels of evenly spaced vertical spindles and side rails that carry thirteen slats on each level, so a mattress goes down without a box spring above or below. Two drawers sit beneath the lower bunk on four casters each, gliding out from one long side and reaching most of the bed's length. Guardrails enclose the upper bunk along both long sides, and a ladder of fixed steps climbs the end frame. When the room changes, the bunk unbolts into two standing full beds, each keeping its head and foot panels and one drawer beneath it.

Care Instructions

• Dust the frame with a dry cloth, following the grain rather than working across it
• Wipe finished surfaces with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately so water does not sit on the finish
• Avoid abrasive powders, scouring pads, bleach and solvent-based cleaners on any surface
• Keep the frame away from radiators, heat vents and long hours of direct sunlight
• Wipe the drawer interiors with a dry cloth and clear grit from the casters so they keep gliding smoothly
• Close both drawers fully before moving the frame or stripping the lower bunk
• Check the slats every few months to make sure none has shifted out of position
• Check the ladder and guardrail connections whenever you strip the upper bunk
• Retighten every frame bolt after the first two weeks of use, then check them every few months
• Lift the frame clear of the floor when repositioning rather than dragging it
