Meet Norela - The Ladder Goes Where You Need It

Furniture usually arrives with its mind made up. The ladder is on the left, so the bed goes against that wall, so the door opens into it, and the room gets arranged around a decision somebody else made in a factory. The Norela loft bed leaves that one open. Mount the ladder at either end during assembly and the bed fits the room it actually landed in. The deck sits low, just over two and a quarter feet up, close enough to make the bed while standing. Panelled ends give the frame a finished face, and the floor underneath stays clear for whatever the room still needs. Full size low loft bed, solid wood loft bed, low loft bed with ladder, loft bed with storage space underneath. Best for kids' rooms, shared bedrooms, and awkwardly shaped rooms where the door is never quite where you want it.

1.

Reversible Ladder

The ladder bolts to either end of the frame, decided at assembly rather than at the factory, so a bed pushed into a corner still opens toward the room instead of the wall.

2.

Solid Wood Frame

Square pine posts carry the deck without a cabinet or panel bracing them, and the grain shows through the finish rather than sitting under a printed surface the way a board-built frame does.

3.

Open Floor Underneath

Just over two feet of clearance opens up from post to post with nothing built into it, taking storage bins, a low dresser, a stack of cushions or a play tent as the room changes.

Panelled End Guardrails

Both ends close in with solid vertical boarding instead of open bars, giving the low frame a finished face from across the room and something solid to lean a pillow against.
