Meet Langford - Wider and Lower

Two-seat sleepers tend to arrive at the same dimensions, and the Langford pull-out sofa bed moves in both directions at once: five inches wider across the front, an inch and a half lower to the floor. What that trade buys is a wide seat sofa bed you can sit sideways on with your legs up, under a back that stays below eye level from the doorway. A low profile sofa bed changes how a small room reads, since the wall behind it stays visible instead of being cut off at shoulder height. The seats draw forward in two halves and the backs fold down behind them, opening a tufted plane wide enough to stretch out across. Best for anyone shopping an oversized pull out sofa bed or a sleeper sofa for small living rooms, where the floor plan cannot spare a sectional but the seat still needs room to spread out.

Split Pull-Out Seat

Each front cushion rides on its own steel base with a pull tab at the leading edge. Draw one forward on its own, or pull both to open the whole lounge surface across the frame.

Adjustable Backrest

Adjustable Backrest

The back divides into two padded panels that drop from the upright sitting angle to lie behind the extended seats. One side can stay upright for sitting while the other lies flat beside it.

Rolled Pillow-Top Arms

Rolled Pillow-Top Arms

Both arms roll outward into a padded bolster capped at the top, wide enough to take an elbow while sitting upright or a head once the seats are drawn out into the lounge position.

Tufted Chenille Cushions

Rows of tufts draw the woven chenille into rounded pockets across the seats and backs, catching light along every ridge. The foam beneath gives under weight and comes back when the seat is empty.
