Korlis white twin over twin floor bunk bed in a bright bedroom with soft neutral bedding

Meet Korlis - A Bunk Drawn Low

The height is what makes a parent hesitate over a bunk bed, and the hesitation lands on whoever sleeps up top. The Korlis floor bunk bed answers that by keeping the whole frame under four feet, close enough to the ground that the climb is a few wide steps and the top bed gets made from standing rather than from the third rung. Solid rubberwood carries the posts and rails, thirteen slats span the upper deck so a mattress goes down without a box spring, and guardrails close in the top bunk along both long sides. Low ceilings stop being a problem, and the room keeps the open space overhead that a full-height bunk takes away. Twin over twin floor bunk bed, low bunk bed for kids, solid wood bunk bed, low profile bunk bed with guardrails. Best for shared bedrooms, low-ceilinged rooms, attic bedrooms and first bunk beds.

1.

Wide Flat Steps

The ladder climbs on steps drawn wide enough to take a whole foot, not rungs that ask for a careful placement in the dark, and it sits at one end where it stays clear of both sleeping surfaces.

2.

Solid Rubberwood Frame

Rubberwood forms the posts, rails and guardrails, a dense hardwood that takes a knock without denting and holds its finish through the years a bed spends being climbed, stripped and made again.

3.

Full-Length Guardrails

Rails enclose both long sides of the top bunk across the whole sleeping surface rather than stopping partway toward the foot, closing in the deck at a height drawn for the low frame beneath it.

Low Upper Deck

The top bunk sits close enough to the ground that a fitted sheet goes on from standing, and the whole frame stops short of four feet, leaving the air above it open in a room with a low ceiling.
