A High Loft With a Shelf Up Top

The Fenra loft bed is the full size version of this high frame, built so both the sleeping level and the floor below carry their own use. A powder-coated steel frame lifts the deck on square posts, guardrails backed with steel mesh enclose the platform, and a steel slat deck holds a Full mattress with no box spring, purchased separately. Along one side of the deck, a shelf runs almost the full length at mattress height, edged with mesh so nothing rolls off. A staircase climbs one end as a storage unit in its own right, open shelves facing the room, a hanging wardrobe on the side turned inward, and flat treads across the top. The staircase mounts left or right. Beneath the deck, more than four and a half feet of clearance stays open post to post. The deck is rated to 350 pounds.

Care Instructions

• Wipe the steel frame with a soft damp cloth and dry it right away so water does not sit on the powder-coated surface
• Wipe the bedside shelf and staircase panels with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dry immediately
• Blot spills on the bedside shelf as they happen rather than letting liquid sit along the panel edge
• Avoid abrasive powders, scouring pads, bleach and solvent-based cleaners on the frame and the panels
• Vacuum dust from the mesh panels with a soft brush attachment rather than working it into the perforations
• Wipe the hanging rod with a dry cloth and keep damp clothes off it until they have dried
• Dust the slat deck with a dry cloth, reaching between the bars rather than only across them
• Retighten every frame bolt after the first two weeks of use, then check them every few months
• Lift the frame clear of the floor when repositioning rather than dragging it
