Around the mattress, the side rails and footboard are padded in a row of soft rectangular blocks, so every edge you brush past is upholstered. The frame sits on a low wood plinth base that meets the floor without legs, and wood slats inside support a king mattress directly, with no box spring needed. Choose white boucle with a light oak-tone frame or grey velvet with a walnut-tone frame.

Care Instructions

• Velvet (grey): the pile lies in one direction, so the headboard and rails can look lighter or darker from different angles; this shading is normal for velvet, not a defect
• Velvet (grey): brush pressed areas back with a soft clothes brush stroked in one direction
• Boucle (white): vacuum with a soft brush attachment to lift dust from the loops, and never pull a loose loop; trim it level with small scissors instead
• Both fabrics: spot clean with a damp cloth and a mild upholstery cleaner, blotting rather than rubbing, and test a hidden area first
• Wipe the wood frame and base with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth, then dry it, and keep standing water off the wood
• Keep the bed out of long periods of direct sunlight, which can fade the fabric and the wood finish
• Use standard king sheets sized for 76" × 80"; California King sheets will not fit
