A Gaming Chair With a Headrest That Comes Off

The Draco gaming chair is the removable headrest version of this high-back racing seat, drawn so the pillow is either on the chair or off it rather than sliding somewhere in between. The headrest lifts away from the top of the backrest entirely, and the lumbar cushion below it straps across the lower back and slides up or down to sit at the small of the spine. The backrest carries a hexagonal quilted centre panel that stands proud of the surface around it, framed by padded side wings that curve forward at shoulder height to hold the shoulders in on a recline. The back tips from upright to 135 degrees on a side lever with the armrests swinging down in step, and a padded footrest slides out from the front edge. Under the seat, an SGS certified gas lift covers a four inch range over a five-star steel base on quiet casters.

Care Instructions

• Wipe the PU leather with a soft damp cloth and a leather-safe cleaner, testing on a hidden area first
• Blot spills promptly with a clean dry cloth so moisture does not settle into the quilted seams
• Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and solvent-based cleaners, which can dull or crack the PU leather
• Keep the chair out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from radiators and heat vents, which dry the upholstery
• Remove the headrest pillow before cleaning the top of the backrest, and refit it fully afterwards
• Clear hair and grit from the caster wheels and the footrest track so both keep moving smoothly
• Retract the footrest and return the backrest upright before moving the chair
• Check the recline lever periodically, and stop using the recline if it no longer holds position
• Wipe the steel base and the gas lift column with a soft dry cloth
• Check and retighten the base, armrest and backrest hardware every few months
