The Arla loft bed is the queen size version of this high loft frame, built so a workstation fits beneath a bed sized for two adults. A powder-coated steel frame lifts the deck on square posts, full-length guardrails enclose the platform, and a steel slat deck holds a Queen mattress with no box spring, purchased separately. Underneath, a desktop runs nearly the full length of the frame at everyday chair height, clearing more than two feet overhead so a monitor stands upright and a chair pulls in without anyone ducking. A power outlet with USB charging sits at the desk edge, and a remote-controlled LED strip mounts beneath the sleep deck to light the surface below. A ladder climbs one end of the frame. The deck is rated to 350 pounds.

Care Instructions

• Unplug the power outlet and the LED strip at the wall before cleaning anything on or near the desktop
• Keep cups, bottles and cleaning sprays away from the outlet panel, and never wipe it with a wet cloth
• Wipe the steel frame with a soft damp cloth and dry it right away so water does not sit on the powder-coated surface
• Wipe the desktop with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dry immediately
• Blot spills on the desktop as they happen rather than letting liquid sit along the panel edge
• Avoid abrasive powders, scouring pads, bleach and solvent-based cleaners on the frame and the desktop
• Dust the LED strip with a dry cloth only, and keep the remote away from liquids
• Dust the slat deck and guardrails with a dry cloth, reaching between the bars rather than only across them
• Retighten every frame bolt after the first two weeks of use, then check them every few months
• Lift the frame clear of the floor when repositioning rather than dragging it
