Meet Roselyn - Six Pieces, One Shape

The biggest sofa in a room is usually the one nobody wants to move. It arrived as one frame and stays where the delivery left it. The Roselyn four-seat sectional is the largest piece in the line and none of that applies to it. Four modules stand in one line against the wall, two ottomans close the ends, and not one of the six weighs more than a single end module. That is why a U this long can go up a stairwell, and why its shape can change on any afternoon. Take one ottoman away and it becomes an L. Take both and it becomes a bench. Each ottoman sits a little above the cushions, so it is there for legs rather than for another person. As a modular chenille sectional with tufted pleated backrests, this U-shaped sofa with two ottomans takes a long wall and closes both ends. Best for households of four and open-plan rooms.

Take A Closer Look

Pleated Two-Tier Backrest
1.

Pleated Two-Tier Backrest

Every backrest takes one horizontal fold, and the padding gathers unevenly around it so the block above ends up fuller than the block below. Nothing is stitched through the face, so the division is made entirely by the fold.

Deep Chenille Seat Cushions

Deep Chenille Seat Cushions

At 8.6 inches from frame to top, each cushion takes a while to reach its floor. The first part of that is foam compressing, and what stops the descent is a spring pack sitting under it.

Narrow Rolled Arms

Narrow Rolled Arms

Each arm rolls over into a soft round edge and stops there, slim enough to read as a border rather than a block. A bolster pillow leans against the inside of each one, close to hand and easy to move.

Two Loose Corner Ottomans

Two Loose Corner Ottomans

Set an ottoman against either end and the join shows as a break, not a seam, because its top finishes above the cushion. That step is what separates a place for legs from a longer seat.
