A Sectional With Room to Stretch

The Roselyn three-seat sectional is the long version with a corner added, four pieces where three make the bench and the fourth stands wherever it is wanted. Two end modules carry a rolled arm each, a third module without arms fills the middle so the center place is as wide as the two beside it, and all three lock face to face along one line. The ottoman is separate from that line entirely. Set it at the left end or the right and the sofa reads as an L; pull it in front and the bench is straight again with a low table before it. It stands a little higher than the cushions, so the point of it is to get the legs up rather than to carry the seat further. Chenille covers all four pieces in the same weave, and each backrest is gathered by one deep pleat into two stacked pillows.

Care Instructions

• Allow 2 to 7 days after unpacking for the vacuum-compressed cushions and bolster pillows to fully regain their shape
• Vacuum the chenille upholstery regularly with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and light debris
• Spot clean spills with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, blotting immediately without rubbing
• Smooth the pleated backrests by hand after use, working along each fold rather than across it
• Rotate the seat cushions between the three positions every few months so wear spreads evenly across the bench
• Move the ottoman between ends occasionally so its top wears at the same rate as the seats
• Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive pads on the chenille surface
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to protect the upholstery color
• Keep pet claws and sharp objects off the surface, since a pulled loop shows on a woven pile
• Check and tighten the connectors periodically to keep all three bench modules sitting flush
• Lift rather than drag the modules and the ottoman when rearranging, and clear any grit from the floor beneath the feet
