Meet Ovina - Room to Sit Sideways

An office chair with arms decides how you sit before you sit down, and eight hours later the decision starts to show. The Ovina chair takes the arms off and widens the seat to 25 inches instead, which is enough room to fold a leg up, tuck one under, or turn sideways and lean against nothing at all. Channel stitching runs across the seat and up the back in soft vertical lines, a matching pillow rests where the lower back meets the cushion, and the whole thing turns and reclines on a five-arm base. Nothing about it reads as office equipment, which matters when the desk sits in a bedroom corner. Criss cross office chair, armless office chair with wheels, wide seat desk chair, office chair with lumbar pillow. Best for home offices, bedroom desks, vanity corners and small apartments where the chair stays in view all day.

1.

Wide Armless Memory Foam Seat

The seat runs 25 inches across with nothing at either side, so a leg folds up onto the cushion, tucks under, or hangs over the edge. It gives where the weight lands and comes back slowly once you stand, holding its shape rather than flattening into a dip by the end of a long week.

360° Smooth Rotation

The seat turns a full circle on a five-arm steel base, reaching a shelf or a printer behind without the chair being dragged around, and rolling clear of the desk on a caster at each arm tip.

3.

Removable Lumbar Pillow

The pillow rests against the lower back in the same fabric as the seat, and lifts straight out when the chair does duty at a vanity or beside a reading lamp. Vertical stitching quilts both surfaces to match.

4.

Adjustable Recline

The back tips through 20 degrees, and a dial underneath sets how much push it takes to get there. The chair stays upright for typing and gives way when the work stops.
