A Bunk Bed That Sleeps Three

The Osvin bunk bed is the trundle version of this twin over twin wood frame, built to sleep three in the floor space of one bed. Solid rubberwood posts stand at all four corners, joined into head and foot panels of evenly spaced vertical spindles and side rails that carry thirteen wood slats on each level, so a mattress sits directly on the frame without a box spring. Guardrails enclose both long sides of the upper bunk, and a ladder of fixed steps climbs the end frame. A third twin bed sits on its own seven-slat base beneath the lower bunk and pulls out when someone stays over. When the room changes, the bunk unbolts into two standing twin beds, each keeping its head and foot panels, and the trundle stays with whichever one needs it.

Care Instructions

• Dust the frame with a dry cloth, following the grain rather than working across it
• Wipe finished surfaces with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately so water does not sit on the finish
• Avoid abrasive powders, scouring pads, bleach and solvent-based cleaners on any surface
• Keep the frame away from radiators, heat vents and long hours of direct sunlight
• Clear dust and stray toys from beneath the lower bunk so the trundle pulls out and pushes back freely
• Check the slats every few months to make sure none has shifted out of position
• Check the ladder and guardrail connections whenever you strip the upper bunk
• Retighten every frame bolt after the first two weeks of use, then check them every few months
• Lift the frame clear of the floor when repositioning rather than dragging it
