The Maggiore dining chairs arrive as a coordinated pair, each built from squared rubberwood with no turning, tapering or carving anywhere on the frame. The back is a rectangular opening filled edge to edge with cane webbing, its fine hexagonal weave ventilating through the panel, set into a frame whose rear posts continue straight to the floor as the rear legs. Below that panel a horizontal rail crosses the back and leaves an open gap above the seat. The cushion is upholstered in linen over high-density foam and S-springs, seated within a square wood surround. Four legs drop from that surround at the same square section as the frame above, meeting the floor without a stretcher between them.
