The Darsen loft bed is the Twin XL version of this low loft frame, built so the bed and the gaming desk arrive as one piece instead of two purchases that never quite match. A powder-coated steel frame carries the sleep deck at a low height, perforated mesh panels fill the guardrails on both long sides, and a slat deck holds a Twin XL mattress with no box spring, purchased separately. The desk extends from one end of the frame on X-shaped legs, its surface running deep enough for a monitor and a full keyboard, with an LED strip along the front edge and USB ports set into the panel. A three-step ladder climbs the short rise to the deck. Beneath the platform, roughly two feet of clearance takes low cube shelving, bins and boxes. The deck is rated to 350 pounds.

Care Instructions

• Unplug the USB panel and the LED strip at the wall before cleaning anything on or near the desktop
• Keep cups, bottles and cleaning sprays away from the USB panel, and never wipe it with a wet cloth
• Wipe the steel frame with a soft damp cloth and dry it right away so water does not sit on the powder-coated surface
• Wipe the desktop with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dry immediately
• Blot spills on the desktop as they happen rather than letting liquid sit along the panel edge
• Vacuum the mesh guardrail panels with a brush attachment to lift dust out of the perforations
• Avoid abrasive powders, scouring pads, bleach and solvent-based cleaners on the frame and the desktop
• Dust the LED strip with a dry cloth only
• Retighten every frame bolt after the first two weeks of use, then check them every few months
• Lift the frame clear of the floor when repositioning rather than dragging it
