A Counter Stool Wrapped All Around

The Cornas counter height bar stool set is the enclosed version of this silhouette, built so the back and the arms are the same piece of upholstery rather than a back and two arms made separately. The shell starts high at the back, curves forward along each side and drops as it goes, ending low enough at the front to take a forearm. A black metal post meets it there, capped in a gold sleeve where the tube stops. The seat is a separate cushion set inside the frame with a visible gap between it and the shell above, so the two read as distinct pieces even though they belong to one line. Below, four slim black legs stand almost straight down to a square footrest set close to the floor, and each leg closes in a gold sleeve of its own. Upholstery is a soft woven fabric over foam, on the shell and the seat alike.

Care Instructions

• Blot spills straight away with a clean dry cloth rather than rubbing, so nothing works down into the weave
• Treat marks with a fabric-safe cleaner on a barely damp cloth, testing on a hidden area first and using as little moisture as the mark allows
• Keep the upholstery out of long hours of direct sunlight, which lifts color from woven surfaces
