A Dining Chair With Two Faces

The Colorado dining chairs arrive as a coordinated pair, each drawn so the front and the back read as different objects. The seat and the inner face of the backrest are upholstered in faux leather over foam, drawn into vertical channels stitched down at regular intervals across the full width of both. Behind the backrest, a single sheet of bentwood curves around the shoulders in a walnut finish, its grain reading across the panel with the upholstery held inside it. Four tapered metal legs bolt through that shell in a matte black finish, spreading outward toward the floor so the base sits wider than the seat above it. Armless and just under twenty inches wide, each chair pushes fully under a table, its curved back and channelled front finished from every angle in an open room.

Care Instructions

• Wipe the PU leather with a soft damp cloth and a leather-safe cleaner, testing on a hidden area first
• Blot spills promptly with a clean dry cloth so moisture does not settle into the stitched channels
• Work a soft brush along each channel to lift crumbs out of the stitching lines
• Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and solvent-based cleaners, which can dull or crack the PU leather
• Dust the bentwood shell with a soft dry cloth, following the grain rather than working across it
• Wipe the shell with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately so water does not sit on the finish
• Keep the chairs out of prolonged direct sunlight, which dries the upholstery and fades the wood finish
• Wipe the metal legs with a soft dry cloth, avoiding abrasive pads on the coating
