The Aven L-shaped sectional sofa is sized for the great room where four people sit down at once and someone always wants their feet up. Most large L-shaped sectionals solve that with a fixed corner piece, which leaves one seat wedged between two others at a right angle. This one has no corner piece. Two arm modules and two narrower armless modules form a long four-seat row, buckled together with webbing straps over an anti-slip base, and a matching ottoman cut to seat height sits in front of any one of those seats as the chaise. Every seat faces forward. Each piece is 32D foam with no wood frame, covered in textured velvet stitched into rounded tufted sections, and the seat is deep and low with a backrest that leans away.

Care Instructions

• Velvet looks lighter or darker depending on the viewing angle, and this shading is normal for velvet, not a defect
• Color may look slightly different from the photos depending on room lighting
• Sitting, pressing or brushing against the velvet shifts the pile and leaves shaded marks, which brush back out with a soft clothes brush stroked in one direction
• Allow up to 72 hours after unboxing for all five pieces to expand to full shape, patting the surfaces by hand to help them along
• Vacuum weekly with a soft brush attachment, working in the direction of the pile
• Spot clean with a damp cloth and a mild upholstery cleaner, testing a hidden area first
• Blot spills with a dry cloth right away instead of rubbing them into the pile
• Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to limit fading of the velvet
• Avoid abrasive sponges, bleach and ammonia-based cleaners
• Check the straps under the seat modules every few months and re-buckle them if the row has drifted apart
